Halesi

A hill town in eastern Nepal's Khotang district, home to the Halesi Mahadev cave temple — sacred to both Hindus, who identify it with Shiva, and Buddhists, who identify it with Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). Reached by a multi-day overland journey from Kathmandu.
