Family-Friendly Nepal Discovery
♡A six-day journey through Kathmandu and Pokhara paced and planned for families traveling with children, mixing culture, gentle nature and hands-on activities.
Best for: Family traveling with children
Destinations: Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara
Overview
This journey is planned specifically around traveling with children: shorter outings, hands-on activities rather than long guided lectures, and accommodation and meal timing chosen with kids in mind. It covers Kathmandu's more family-friendly cultural sites and Pokhara's lakeside and nature activities, avoiding anything that requires long stillness or heavy walking.
We ask about children's ages when you enquire, since activities are adjusted accordingly — a hands-on craft session or a boat ride on Phewa Lake tends to land better with younger children than an extended temple visit, and the itinerary is weighted toward the former. Guides are experienced with family groups and comfortable adjusting pace and explanation on the fly rather than sticking rigidly to a script built for adults.
