This journey connects two parts of our catalogue that are often booked separately: Kathmandu Valley's living Buddhist heritage (Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Patan's Newar Buddhist courtyards) and Lumbini, traditionally identified as the Buddha's birthplace. Together they give a fuller arc — from the valley's centuries-old living practice to the place tradition identifies as where the story begins.

The six days move deliberately: several days building context in Kathmandu Valley before the journey out to Lumbini, so the significance of Lumbini lands with more depth than it would as a standalone day trip.
