Silent Meditation Retreat
♡A six-day guided meditation retreat in Pokhara with extended periods of silence, inspired by insight-meditation traditions and led by an experienced facilitator.
Best for: Traveler seeking a structured, extended meditation practice
Destinations: Pokhara
Overview
This retreat is built around progressively longer sits and extended periods of noble silence, drawing on techniques from insight-meditation traditions without claiming a specific lineage or certification — our facilitator is experienced in guiding mixed groups of first-time and returning meditators, not a substitute for a formal residential Vipassana course for those specifically seeking one.
The schedule is genuinely demanding for a wellness retreat: early sits, several silent periods through the day, and a request (not an enforced rule) to avoid phones and conversation during silence blocks. Most guests find the second and third days the hardest before settling into the rhythm. The retreat property outside Pokhara is chosen for its quiet, with minimal ambient noise to support the silence periods.
